How to block production output's based on QC test results

You can prevent users from being able to record outputs in production based on the results of QC tests.

This feature is currently only available for QC tests with numeric metrics.
  1. On a Recipe or a Planned Process Add a QC test with a numeric metrics.

  2. At the end of the line showing the QC test select to Edit Expectations.

  1. Switch the Toggle for “Block Outputs if value entered is outside of expected range?”

  1. Define what the Expected Minimum and Maximum Values for the results of this QC test should be.

  2. Save

Once set up, outputs from processes that use these QC tests will be blocked unless a value is entered that sits between the Expected Minimum and Maximum values.
In this case you will see:

  • A warning message when recording the result

  • A chip on the Processes QC card showing which QC tests and which recorded result is causing the block

  • A warning banner on the processes Output Card and the output actions disabled

  • A warning and the output actions disabled when trying to output from the batch or any other screen e.g. the vessel summary screen

  • A warning on the vessel summary card

Once a QC test which is between the expected values is entered the block on outputs will be lifted.
