# How To: Container Migration

To migrate containers from v6 to v7 you will navigate to:

**Container Tracking → Tracked V6 Containers.**

Click **Migrate Containers** button located at the bottom right of the page.

A new screen will appear, enter the type of container you are migrating. Followed by typing or scanning the **v6 Label** and then the **v7 Label.**

This will migrate the V6 container automatically to a V7 container, taking you back to the V6 label to scan page.

_Containers that are currently out would be dealt with in the same way, this would occur once they are back in._
