Batch Production - How To: Record Vessel Maintenance

Once you have emptied and removed a Vessel from a Batch, you can record a Maintenance Process against it. This is commonly used by BrewMan customers to maintain cleaning records in the system for health and safety or food standards audits.

Please see the New Production Setup Guide here for details on creating maintenance recipes.

If a maintenance process is due on a Vessel, a red warning icon will appear and warn you before using it for a new Batch. How often the process is due must be specified in Maintenance Settings for this to occur.

Go to Production - Vessel Summary, click Actions on the relevant Vessel then select Start a Maintenance Process or Start for the Due clean.

Select the process you wish to start and click Start Process.

On the Maintenance Process screen:

Use the ingredients (if necessary) and complete any instructions given. Finally, once everything is complete you can click the complete process button.

Viewing Maintenance Records

To view a history of Maintenance for a Vessel,

Go to Production - Vessel Summary, click Actions on the relevant Vessel then select View Vessel Record.

You can select a Report Period or change Vessel and view a history of all Movements and Maintenance recorded in the system for this given vessel.
